This is the second offering from Jest of Eve kites, following on from the Trident in its various guises. So, is the Jest of Eve Talon an improvement?

It seems that Powerkiters are having trouble finding places to fly. Often when they get booted all sport kites get booted too.

These folks are doing something positive. They aim to:
"Have Kitesports expressly listed in the Single Payment Scheme, Cross
Compliance Guidance list for Permitted Activities as a Group A
(Permitted Without Restriction.) activity."

The Current Chasing Kites Eyesight arrived today and I had the opportunity to take it out for a fly for an hour over lunch in slightly lumpy 3-7mph winds.

You may be wondering what this whole freestyle thing is about.
Sport Kite flying is a fairly new sport, and is still evolving and changing. In the last 5 to 10 years of its development Freestyle has begun to dominate recreational flying. Freestyle flying is about expressing yourself with a kite through a range of unusual maneuvers; flying the kite on its back, its belly and linking it all together to look really smooth.

Andy Preston? Well the prototype has been about a year already. He is in no hurry with this. Andy is quite busy enough with the EVO series and his other powerkite work. So don't expect to see this popping up until after lunch.
